FXSTI w/ Progressive Monotube... not happy.
I just installed my Progressive lowered Monotubes on my 05 FXSTI. Not a happy camper. Doesn't look like it even lowered it. It's the 31-2505 so it is the correct model number for the lowered tubes. I installed both the stock small spring and added the 2 c-spacers as instructed in the manual. The axle to top of fork tube cap height is 30.5".
Basically all I removed was the stock spring and damper rod. Am I missing something else? Or maybe the springs need to settle? Any other suggestions to get the front lower?
