I know there are other threads on this, but I wanted to get some fresh opinions.
I got married on September 1 and for our honeymoon, we went to Cancun. While in Cancun, we went horseback riding on the beach. The saddles were basically hard plastic. Ever since then I've had tailbone pain whenever I sit for longer than 30 min.
I just got my 05 Deluxe 2 months ago and I can't go longer than 10 min without having to stand up, fidget, or try desperately to find a comfortable sitting position where my tailbone isn't screaming.
I like the look of the deluxe stock seat, but would consider other options. Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!
Sounds like you bruised your tail bone. You might try some extra padding in your pants, I know it sounds gay, with a hole in the middle to go around your tail bone so that you are not putting any pressure on it. It will take time to heal.
I had my stock Fatboy seat re shaped and re padded with memory foam and a tailbone relief channel cut into it. Seems to help a bunch so far. Give Mean City Cycles a call. http://www.meancitycycles.com/
I didn't have tailbone pain but my *** would get seriously sore after putting on some miles. Sent my seat to Mean City and they hooked it up! Was without my seat for less than a week.

What all did you have them do? I have an appointment in June and I'm trying to gather info on what other customers have done to make the most of my seat mod.
If you want to keep the stock seat, Mean City would be the way to go. If you want to buy an aftermarket seat C&C is the way to go. If you call them and tell them what you want they'll do their best to try and accommodate you.
I broke my tailbone playing hockey about 20 years ago. It still hurts when I sit for too long. It's like a broken toe... nothing they can do for it and you're basically f-ed up for life.
I've actually found that a fistful of Advil before a ride makes the pain tolerable, and after about 30 or 40 miles it's completely numb and doesn't bother me at all... until I hafta stop for gas. It's basically rinse and repeat from there on out.
To me, no gel or foam seat of any kind can touch an AirHawk seat cushion for comfort. Same technology used by burn victims and to prevent bed sores in hospitals.
That same technology can now be built into a Danny Grey seat if you go to dannygrey.com and use the seat builder you can build it yourself.
I can do 12 hours with an AirHawk with no problem. All low pressure air cells. Blows up with a couple of puffs on the air tube.
