Default Engine size

Asking for a friend who is trying to order some stuff:

What size engine would a stock 2006 dyna wide glide have? I'm hearing mixed answers of 88" and 96". I thought they put the 96" in the Dynas in 06 and didn't put the 96" in the softails until 07.

The stock 2006 Dyna WG (FXDWGi) was equipped with an 88 cu. in. engine.

As Bone Doc says the 2006 model WG bike has an 88, but when was the bike bought ? If it was purchased in the back end of 06 it will be an 07 model with a 96 engine, that's probably where the confusion comes from, why Harleys don't bring the new bikes out in January I don't know.
