As far as power goes, I ride with a guy that has an 08 heritage. He has the 96 and has done the stage one. He had no problem keeping up with my 103 stock. I haven't been out with him since I finished the stage one on mine but I'm guessing there won't be a noticeable difference between the two. With both engines stock there's only like a 2 hp difference.

Well, I have a '96 with 57k on it now, just change oil regularly , and tires. Just put a new Mustang seat because my tired rear was begging for new. Otherwise smiles all around.

I also have a '96 that I bought 3 weeks ago in Headingly. I've already put over 2K kms on it and love the beast. With its 80" engine it's not nearly as powerful as my brother's 103" Electraglide, but I didn't buy the bike to race it.

Default Missing my FLSTCI

Traded my '04 heritage for a new Breakout because the wife wasn't riding much with me, among some other reasons, but now that I have a new bike she wants to go out more. The breakout just isn't made for two up, and I am even had a thought to take it back and get a heritage instead. Needles to say I miss it and have a regret or three about making that decision. It is a fantastic ride for sure, never gave me any problems even after it was involved in a wreck.
