Let me tell you guys what.1000 milesare for the new Harley riders. Cast iron liners and Hastings cast rings have been used for years. Rings under normal load will seat in 250-300 miles. The difference between 777 and 1000 will not be any different.
Since I was born normal break in intervals were 500 miles. Since the introduction of the teflon coating they changed the interval to 1k.The engine is still a little snug and might make more later or under abuse could lose from ring seal. A stage 1 will not guarantee you any amount of power, your combination does. These pipes are not the optimum for a stage one and the numbers show that. Stock numbers are consistant with others on my dyno. Just posted in case someone wanted to know.
Hey gutman ,hate to sound dense ,but could you show picture's of what 2 in 2 pipe look's like, don't think have seen them yet, and sure would like to see picture or two of your bike, and I think your number's are good!! and as you go probably get lot higher!! But you andI know there is so many other's who like to bust your B...'s since they are jealous are just plain old know it all, like I said been riding since 12 now 50, s...! but have had number different bike's and brand's,allway's wanted harley, just to broke to pay for until I bought used 1974 superglide, 4 speed, 74 C.I.'s, damn I loved that bike! leaked oil like no tomorrow, and girl's I would take for ride, there back had nice splatter of oil going up there back, just to cool! well good luck, hope to talk some more, like to see pics.!!!!!! peace bro
I have a '02 FXSTcarb 88" motor with about the same mods and pipes(+ SE module and coil) and made about the same power as Gutman on the dyno. 2 into 2 are seperate pipes.
Now I know I'm dumb as rock, So 2 in 2 pipe's are just a set of pipe's ?!! I was thinking different in some sort of way , I guess that is new term for me, like I said I allway's used term of pipe's is two pipe's ,one for each jug, 2 in 1 header pipe, and in old day's for my jap I mine (metric) 750 honda, 900 kawasaki, 1000 suzuki I would buy 4 in 1 as soon as possible , so sorry did not want to be dumb Texan, now I have been schooled, Thank You for helping me understand.
It's not about who made more or not. It's the difference on my Dyno. The pipes are not great and '07 power is less than earlier. Dragon 2-int-2 means 2 pipes come out of the head and 2 pipes make noise.
