Slim speedometer condensation
I keep getting condensation inside the speedometer so I finally decided to bring it in to my local HD service dept to have it looked at under warranty and was told that its normal and would not be replaced unless I could no longer see the speedometer ? Has anyone experienced similar issue like this ?
I've seen it maybe only once or twice and then just slightly.
10 minutes in the sun and it was gone.
I now wrap plastic over it and secure with a rubber band during washes.
Same with the tank fuel gauge.
Hasn't reappeared since.

Right after I had my washed at the shop, I saw some moisture on the lens. It was during the summer and after riding in the Texas sun for a few hours, it went away and I've never seen it again.
I've owned Softail, Touring, and Dyna models, and the gauges on all got condensation, both large and small gauges. It's just another thing that makes a Harley unique....And no, they won't do anything to correct it... tomp dd50
