I'd think a Breakout, like my Blackline, aren't made for long...500 miles plus...rides. I've done a few and although I was comfortable during the ride, I was pretty tired when I got home.
I finally got to ride a Brackout today, when I was getting my 15k service. Today, just like in May when I was getting my 5k, they were trying to talk me into getting one, filling out a credit app but I can't afford one.
well im under 6 ft but have thought about a bar change. As far as exhaust goes im going with a 2 into 1 from d and d exhaust. they make 2 different complete systems for the breakout. Bassani also makes a full system. Vance and hines of course are the most common.
For seat comfort on my rocker, I put on a danny gray seat WITH SADDLE GEL...It pushed me back a little and down plus it is way more comfortable than the stock seat. I do 3k trips with it with no problem at all. BUT make sure you get saddle gel...my brother got another brand seat with no saddle gel...his bum hurts and he gets nasty...lol. Best 75 bucks you ever spent.
I test rode a Breakout right at the end of this riding season ...........Handled great....I like it a lot and want one!! But i dig my Slim-------tough call----------

Hey, when did you get promoted to Moderator, congrats. Now that you're promoted you should have some extra spending money to get that Breakout now

Good Luck with your Breakout. I wish I had one.
I can tell you first hand experience after riding 350 miles (roughly 5hrs straight of driving from Sam Diego to Las Vegas that a Breakout isn't designed, IMO for long distance in stock form. My tailbone and back were so sore when I got there. Now if you upgrade the seat with maybe a built in backrest, have bars that don't require you to lean forward, and adjust the foot controls to suite your body more then yes it could feasible but agree without those amenities it's a tough ride. I was dead set on riding to Sturgis this past august but glad I didn't.
