Meh Fatty 07 with limited custom paint, just brought it home with the new sheetmetal yesterday(in da rain).
Slowly adding chrome to it... but next will prob be a pullback riser and then highway pegs of some sort.

You can have fun with any Harley

Ride both, get the one that feels best to you. The 2 differences are the way they feel while riding and they way they look when you are not riding. If you get the one you like best to ride, looks don't matter that much because you can't see much of the bike from the saddle, and that's where you will be spending most of your time.

Howdy,

Maybe I can offer something here. Just sold a worked Hayabusa to by a softtail. After look at the whole range stock, then a whole range of custom ones It seemed obvious to me that the FATBOY be the solution... even though I weigh 130kg and am bound to get a bunch of "fatboy on the fatboy" jokes from my mates! I have done a bit too it and rode my mates 07 forward controls last week with a group of friends and I had NO PROBLEMS keeping up with some young punk on a 99 hayabusa through the tight parts of the Bells line of road in the north west of Sydney last week. Bike felt WONDERFUL, and got ALL the looks when we stopped at the zigzag railway for a steam train ride later that afternoon. I guess it comes down to your personality but I am 6" and outgoing and I think the choice was right for me!

Now for the exchaust and procharger!!! Hayabusa's be WARE!

I have an 05 Train and an 05 Heritage. Basically the Heritage is a Fatboy with spoke wheels, bags and a windshield. They are both excellent bikes, but with very different purposes. They also handle totally different. My Heritage has a somewhat slow, take it easy, feeling to it's handling. The Train on the other hand, feels like it's on steroids. Of course it's also been worked over. For around town and just the casual day ride, the Train. For long hauls, can't beat the Heritage. I considered a RoadKing when I bought it, but just like the way a softail sits. As said, try and ride both and then decide. Good luck, you should be happy either way.
