As many of you know I have been fighting with my new Air Wing Horn cover. It would not work with my OEM Horn. Well, after much trial and error, I bought a new horn and what do you know, it works perfectly.
Finally, I can move on to something else. Horn cover looks great. I put a skull gas cap medallion on it, like the ones on ebay for $100+ bucks. My cover cost $30, I already had the medallion, and the new horn was $35. Even with the new horn, I saveda lot of cash by making my own. I will post pics ASAP.
I hope I don't have the same problem. I was one of the suckers who bought the $100 off of eBay! (The first thing that occurred to me when I opened the box upon receiving it was "****...I could have stuck one of those medallions onto my horn cover!!" I was a tad disappointed, to say the least, however it'll look great once I get it bolted one...assuming the horn still works!!)
Good luck, hopefully it works for you the first time around. Even if you bought it on Ebay, it will still look great, and you won't see too many around.
Were you able to determine what was different about the new horn that allowed it to work? I know I am beating a dead horse here, but I am curious.

Please tell us I am going through the same crap! I gave up and went to the dealer and they could not even fix it with a new horn. The manager said he has heard of the problem...So how did you get yours to work?
