Default Headlamp Wiring

I just bought a Drag Specialties headlamp to replace my stock headlamp. Laid the bike down and dented it up a little bit. So this new headlamp comes with 1 White wire, 1 Yellow wire and 2 Black wires. The stock headlamp has 1 Yellow, 1 White, and 1 Black.

The plug on the bike has 1 White, 1 Yellow, 1 Black, and 1 Orange/White. Can someone help me out here. First, with the new wires, I know to match up white and yellow to each other but which black one do I use?

And last, since the stock only had three, does that mean the Orange/white just never had anything plugged into it?

Pictures: 1st is the new wires in the Drag Specialties headlamp I got
2nd is the plug attached to the bike
3rd is the extra wire which I'm taping off cause I believe it just goes to the passing lamps which I don't use

Thanks for the help guys

I'm pretty new to the wiring aspect of the game myself but I can tell you what I would do. I would just try one black wire, if that didn't work I would replace it for the other black wire.

I replaced my own headlight by I don't have passing lamps on my rocker. It's not that big of a hassle to replace the black wires in the little plastic clip.
Good luck bud.

I couldn't get the wires out of the clip so I just got a new one. And I'm running the single headlight now with no passing lamps

Your black and yellow wires, should be your bright and dim leads.

yes, looking at the wiring diagram, the orange/white goes to the switches on the hand controls. if both black ones come from ground, should i match a black one up with the orange/white?

Easiest thing to do, would be to get a volt meter, and see which leads are hot. Then switch to hi beam, and check again.
