I'm looking for a set of FXSB front fork sliders. I'll consider forks in any condition, but they need to be 100% serviceable. I plan to remove the black powder coat, polish them and then have them clear coated.

Anyone got a set they wanna dump?
Sounds like an interesting project- did you investigate what type of material the lower sliders are made out of? if they are cast alum and not billet, or are steel, they may not polish up as nicely as you'd expect. I just wanted to throw that out there for consideration before you start spending money.
You might also want to contact Mean Street choppers in NYC- they make some bad *** inverted forks, they made all of the nice ones for Big Dog back in the day- real beefy 56mm stuff that actually handles well. They might even be able to turn you out a custom set of sliders in polished billet.
Whatever happened to that Fbomb exhaust from Arlen Ness someone was puttin on their ride ?
Not sure if that was me or not, but mine arrived last night. Unfortunately I need to wait for a tolerable day to take the bike for its first ride. I don't want to throw on the exhaust until I've made sure there aren't any gremlins. This wait is killing me.

My goal is not to polish them up like a mirror. I'm shooting for a factory look -similar to what HD does on bikes like the Dyna Lowrider and Streetbob..."machined" I guess.

I thought it was 24 who was doing it. But hell, it could have been you lol.
This thread is so long that it's almost impossible to backtrack.
I'm glad that at least someone has a set in their possession. I'll be impatiently waiting for a video once you get it on lol.

Nope, you're correct, it was 24v in this thread (and me in the exhaust thread...thanks to the recommendation from 24v )
I'll definitely get pics and a decent video as soon as it's installed. There are a couple of Sportster videos on YouTube, but they don't provide the best sampling of exhaust note (one is very short and the other is in an enclosed garage). We also of course need to see what difference these 1800cc's can make.
