All HD fork tubes on the 09 (I think?) and up bikes are 49mm. The only differences are length of the tubes. Measure your fork tube area. Ask the seller to give you the length of their Gaiter. The diameter will be ok as long as it is for 49mm. I'd probably guess that Gaiters for Street Bob or Fat Bob would fit fine.

What are some options as far as replacing the signals on the handlebars? Heartland has some teardrop lights. Anyone know where they get these? Heartland is so pricey with their stuff.

If you don't want to keep the turn signals on the bars, you could get some of those mirrors with built in turn signals, e.g. like on the last season of SOA - or the ones on ebay that fit around the fork tube like a ring. there's not a lot of ready-made options.

Joker Machine has some ok priced turns that fit the handlebars.

I really haven't seen anything I like yet.

Mainly just considering turning the ones on the bars to chrome.

Diversity- that's what I love about this forum. I'm getting rid of chrome, you're adding it. Gotta love it.

Project update - Breakout passenger under seat sissy bar backrest bracket - Made some progress, the welder did a nice job mating the Deuce backrest to the front half of the Kuryakyn plug-n-play bracket. This is the result. What's cool is I can put this on and take it off in like 1 minute, no fuss.

All that was needed beyond this was some tweaking of the bracket arch to conform to the Breakout fender and front driver seat bolts- this is easy to do with a big rubber mallet. Set a thin microfiber cloth on fender, place bracket on top to check your fit, remove and tweak bracket as needed.

The existing holes in the front of the Kuryakyn bracket line up perfectly with the driver seat bolts. Also had to notch out the rear of the passenger seat pan on underside. this notch allows the pillion seat to wedge down over the backrest bracket, lock it in place, and attach the pillion rear fender bolt as normal. You'll need to remove some staples holding the seat material to the pan to do these small cuts with a dremel, then use a stapler with 1/2" staples to re attach the material to pan. it's pretty easy and even without the bracket you can't tell the seat was modified.

The pad that comes with the Deuce bracket is pretty big- I'm having it cut smaller and thinner, both for looks and being able to install / remove the passenger pillion- The backrest is too thick and with it on, you can't install or remove the rear seat. I will post up more (better) pics after the pad is finished.

Cost:
Deuce bracket with pad - $65 shipped ebay
Kuryakyn plug n play sissy bar bracket for HD - $120 shipped amazon (look for deals they are not cheap)
Welding - $30
Re-do the backrest pad smaller - $30
Sticky felt 12" by 12" sheet, $6 ebay

So overall $250 for something that is safe and does not look too "janky", to keep the missus happy... eesh..
