Hi Bro. I just bought a new breather kit for my 2014 BO. The gasket with the kit doesn'r appear to match all the holes / machined area per your pics. Does that seem normal for an aftermarket add on ?
Thanx.
There are multiple sizes of HD throttle bodies, on the different HD models, and different again with some of the "Stage" engine kits. For example, the throttle body on my Stage 4 Race kit on my Breakout is larger than the stock throttle body. Did you buy the right kit?
\HD's accessory catalog has always been ghood about clearly showing what bike models each catalog item fits. Aftermarket vendors - not so much.

According to the site I did. They had an input line where I entered the year, make model, etc. and it came up compatible. Everything looks OK except for the gasket, which looks like it will align with some holes but obviously not all,, as you can see.
And Loctite the bolts with BLUE Loctite, and use correct torque - not too little and not too much. Some time ago we had a forum member who experienced the unpleasant results of having one or more of those screws coming loose and being ingested into the engine, and I have heard too many stories of people stripping out those small bolts.
Don't use the kit gasket if it doesn't fit. Just use a HD gasket. The HD gasket on your bike right now might even be reusable.... maybe.
Thanx bro, I'll do that. I'm also thinking the promotional photo may be for a kit, similar to but not the same, as the kit I ordered. One way or the other though, you're right. There's a gasket available that will fit.

Yea.. the idle alone is sexy. But I didn't think it would pull this strong. Holy crap! Around mid 2000 rpm to 6k it feels like my front end was about to come up. Very happy with these cams.
that's the cam I'm leaning towards. my bike is taking off like that now with my pulleys and proper tune - the other week did a WOT blast 1,2,3 during a TT auto tune session and about came off my seat hitting third. can't imagine what it will be like after the cam and TB/injector upgrade.
