ironic part is, I scrape pegs nearly EVERY day I ride the breakout, since about the second day riding it, but the 85 virago I have, and rode for 9 years before I leaned way harder into corners, and only once scraped anything, and that was the exhaust, slow speed, coming out of a parking lot and hit a dip, just a quick crunch on my v&h
I had same issues. used to drive me nuts- i actually almost sold the breakout because of this, as well and the stupid brake diving and rear tire skipping. with the new suspension and tires it's a whole different bike.
Filled up the shopping chart on Boardtracker just to realize they dont ship out of US, anyone knows of another onlineshop who ship overseas and has everything for HD ? not Ebay please.

AFAIK due to the MoCo's policy of protecting their national markets no certified HD dealer in the US is authorized to "sell outside the USA" or to "any person or company intending so sell outside the USA". If they did they would risk losing their contract as a HD dealer.
Thus you'll need to find a workaround like having the parts shipped to someone in the US and have that person forward the items to you. Note that a US dealer most likely will not accept payment through a non-US credit card as it proves that items will finally be sold/shipped outside the US....
No contradiction there....they also sell aftermarket parts. Plus they are allowed to sell/ship to any US citizen deployed overseas like military staff.
But on their "Terms & Sevices" it's clearly stated:
"RESALE and EXPORT:
Surdyke.com refuses to sell Harley-Davidson products to any individual or enterprise that intends to re-sell or export items purchased from surdyke.com. "
And as I said this applies to all US dealers I know of...
^^ So I guess, ideally, you want to have a US military friend locally that can order for you.
I was just answering Lindosan who asked why he could not order from the US online store....I did some research on that topic before.
I personally was lucky and found some good friends here on HDF - fellow US Breakout owners - who were so kind as to help me out in the past. This really proves that this forum is not just talking
