Can't comment on any liquid used to disperse weight for balancing tyres. My tires have tubes in them. But if they were tubeless, I'd be using Dynabeads. Weights are junk. Always fly off and a huge pain to replace,
Dynabeads is the highest level of wheel balancing available.
That. And we're on cruisers. Not race bikes. Nuff said.

Got a Corbin Dual Tour for riding 2-up. While it doesn't go well with the lines of the bike, this seat is sooo much better than the stock seat. The seat is firm but it is curved just right. Wifey got on it tonight and was amazed how much better it is than the Sundowner. The craftsmanship is really nice and I'm glad I went with the white diamond stitching too.
Very pleased with my purchase. I wish there was a way to make a really good looking seat that is just as comfortable as this one. But, as we all know, you can only have comfort OR looks. I'll take the hit on looks on this one. Now, to find a good lookin and comfy solo seat.....
Even outside the looks though, I bet it works well with the stock bars. Were you able to get the HD sissybar to work with it?
Tried to fit the bracket with the trunk, not even close. I'm gonna have to cut a chunk out the front and extend the back a bit to move the trunk back. Shouldn't be too bad of a fix.
I bought the Daytona version of the Fred Kodlin seat. It was exactly what I had been looking for. However, I was very displeased with the mounting. The pin under the seat is not long enough to fully engage into the fender mounted bracket. I called mustang seats and voiced my concerns. They were very attentive to what I thought would make it better. 3 weeks later they had a completely new bracket designed and sent it my way. Very simple design, but significantly more secure than the original. The original bracket left a small gap between the seat and the fender. The new bracket gets rid of that gap entirely. This seat is exceptionally comfortable and I am very pleased with mustangs excellent service. Anyone who owns or is thinking about picking up a Fred Kodlin seat for their breakout, I strongly suggest calling mustang for the new bracket.
Original bracket
Pin at rear of seat
Shows how pin is not long enough to pass through grommet
Shows how grommet is thicker than stem of pin
Comparison of old bracket to new bracket
Perfectly snug fit with the new bracket
Daytona version of the Fred Kodlin seat for those like myself that don't like the suede
Just to show how well the seat flows with the lines of the bike

The CVO top clamp does not have the "gauge cup/speedo housing"... I do not know if you can mount the cvo top to the standard risers... if you are looking to remove the speedo from its current location, you may just have to buy a 1.25 riser and clamp set to replace the whole thing
