What's the little plastic thing under the gas tank on the 18+...? Is it just to fill the space of the smaller tank? It looks kinda funky IMO. And the oil cooler...ya...not in a great spot aesthetically...
Look who is talking keyboard *****.... Whats the point of having a forum to bounce off other people's knowledge? For all I know the 103 is a much more dependable bike. You don't have to be a ***** about it, but I'm sure you cant help it..
congrats you two! 683 pages in this thread and nobody has resorted to name calling until now. Not saying there hasn’t been any conflict or **** talking going on, but you guys took it to the next level.
When I suggested going out and test riding both, during his homework, at least he could see what he liked best. Then, he could weight out any other findings he heard. Part of getting what ya want AND knowing what ya got, as I see it. But noooooooo. Hadta be a "butthead". Lmao.

Well if you took the time to read you would have seen I clearly stated knowing squat about a Harley. My question was legit, but you felt you had to make a snarky comment "Here's a novel idea"... Respect is earned where I come from.. If you can't handle snarky or sarcasm wiithout getting butt hurt and calling them a ******** don't deal it out..

M8 (and new frame) ain't the be-all end-all of the H-D world....
You like 'em, fine...glad ya do...
I wasn't sold on either...[/QUOTE
That's what makes live diversified and interesting. Be BORING if we all had that same bike. Not to mention finding it on bike night.

I'm with you there, especially on the frame / tank. I dunno what HD were thinking, but that's just me. Kudos on your choice.
BTW, You might check out the SE 204 cam. Its a straight drop in with no other head work required in order to optimize it. Its just the ticket in a cruiser weight HD with a TC engine. You get enhanced mid to top end performance and the lope at idle is a winner for this style of HD.

I don't know if it just me but the video you took of the SE-204 Cams does not sound much different that my stock cams at idle. Do you think there is extra lope at idle?
