Bent my bars and need some new ones. Any good installs that have better positioning? Don't want apes but have looked at trask bars and like them. What size are the bars i need?
I replaced the stock with the HD Fused Lo Handlebars. The stock bars (and these) are 1.25" thickness. These are a 10.1" rise, which I was afraid would be a lot, but really are not at all (I'm not an ape hanger guy either).
New to the forum , I’ve tried to search before posting FYI lol I’m not very good at this kinda thing , I bought 12” phatty blazed ape hangers from fmb choppers for my 2019 breakout 114 . Im gonna order the wire extensions from NAMZ but what length clutch throttle and brake extension do I need to order from Harley ? Thank you in advance!! Here’s my bike 👍
Broke down and took my bike to the dealer to get the 10,000 service ( i usually do everything myself), get a tire put on and check my TBW. Check engine light has been on since I put on the apes but rode fine all this time. I don't feel to much of a difference with the 120/70 tire but it's probably because of the apes. Steering is completely different with the apes compared to the drag bars. The TBW has been acting up lately. After checking the codes they put in a new TBW sensor. No check engine light now. I didn't feel like pulling the wires thru the bars again (pain in the butt). Told me 3 hrs at $109.00 per hr. End up only charging me 1 1/2 hours to pull the new one thru the bars. Bike runs like new again. I guess it should since I've only put 9700 miles in 5 1/2 years.
