As others have said absolutely no issues whatsoever. I even took a photo of the tyre, oops sorry tire adjacent to the drivebelt. As you can see loads of room. Didn't bother having it balanced, I rode home and fitted three ounces of Dynamic Balancing Beads and it runs really smooth.
Vince can I ask just out of interest how many miles you got out of your last rear tire? I got about 6,500 miles out of my Dunlop and thought that was ok really considering I do rag the throttle a bit now and again.
Hey, was wondering how you like the new metzler compared to the original tire, handling?
Good Evening BO Group...
quick question....
is there a (best) marketplace or forum to sell Breakout Parts...?
or... is Ebay still the turn to....>?
Im letting go a small fortune in spare BO stuff... due to the trade in on a new SG...
just asking...
thanks...
PS... please forgive me if I'm not posting correctly on here... I never did get the hang of posting.... mainly sit back and read all the comments .. ideas... and how to's....
Apologies but handling is a little too difficult for me to quantify really on the tire alone as with the tire replacement I also fitted a Shotgun Shock and custom made seat at the same time. It took me a few trips to gain confidence in the Shotgun system and get to grips with the fine adjustments. All I can say is the ride is more comfortable being able to set it up to your circumstances at the flick of a switch and I have noticed nothing untoward with the larger rear tire. Apparently if you combine a thinner front tire with the fatter rear handling and eagerness to enter the curves can be improved.
Thanks K9F. I was looking for more in terms of labor. I can change my fluids and rubber gaskets but I don't know how to weld or cut. I imagine Kaiser probably had to cut off the fender struts and potentially change the rear suspension so the swing arm doesn't move? Any insight would be helpful. I've had my Breakout since 2014 and it's pretty basic minus the mini apes.

There's no cutting of the struts required, just unbolt the struts/fender and remove....The Rocker fender is swing arm mounted, it bolts directly to the swing arm and will move up and down with it. The gap between the tire and the Rocker fender is fixed, allowing for the close fit.

Hi there. I just recently purchased a 2019 Harley Davidson breakout 114 and I absolutely love the bike, however there are a few things I would like to change on it. Primarily the exhaust for now.. it's really quiet and I want something louder for many reasons but mainly because I just want it louder. Any ideas on what will look good and sound good but won't break the bank? Been looking at Vansen Hines black widow's but... I'm not really sure if they will look good on it, or give me the sound I want. Any help would be really appreciated.
