The Great American Greed Machine strikes again!
I had a similar situation with another company and it ended up a service rep that evidently spent his day blowing smoke up the customer's butt.
What I did was called and emailed every contact I could find until I finally reached someone that actually was able to take care of the problem.
For what it's worth, I don't think the service rep works there anymore either.
Hmmmm, got my 36 inch cholos in 4 days. Called in April, talked to them nicely and the gal processed my order and got a shipping notification 2 days later. Couldn't be happier with samson.
Few things AND I AM NOT siding with Samson. This is just an observation
* Seems to be a few Brand Newbies passing comments and even mentioning other companies while trashing Samson.
* Samson is a sponsor and maybe they just didnt see this thread. Did anyone bring this to thier attention
* If you put this on a CC, you dont even need to deal with Samson. Call your CC company, dispute the charge. THEY DO THE WORK FOR YOU. Im surprised this wasnt done..
* As far as availability - This is what I was told by my indy... X-amount is allocated to the big houses ie JP, Dennis Kirk etc.. and they must receive their allotment or have ability to direct ship from Samson and others. If not, they walk... I know when I ordered my pipes they were on back order due to this and the only reason I could get them was someone cancelled an order.. THAT does not excuse poor service...
FWIW - Bassani, V&H, Freedom all have items in stock..
I joined the forum in 2006, not sure why thread references me as newbie? None the less it should not matter, bad customer service is bad customer service. I have been nothing but nice to both Jill and Jennifer (This is not something they can control) And to your point, the big houses will get their pipes first, I don't agree with that but it is what it is. I'll refrain from further comments on this subject but will close with saying I am not trashing the company but simply stating their attention to the customer sucks. If I am employed by Samson and I sponsor a huge site like this I would be in tune with what people are saying, ALWAYS. Every single person on the Samson payroll is aware of this problem and someone at the top should be reaching out to offer some answers or some deep discounts to those who have been strung along. If you don't have product and you will not have product for 3-4 months don't keep telling me you are expecting trucks in and there are only four orders in front of me. TELL THE TRUTH
Just got my heritage back with the baffled 36 mini cholos and they sound awesome. There not too loud (like the unbaffled version I had in my sig) and certainly not too quiet. The quality and craftsmanship is totally spot on. Great product and I feel bad for those still waiting on theirs.
