Sundowner question

I like the look of the stock seat and up to 2 years ago it was comfortable enough for me. But the wife wouldn't ride on it so I bought a Sundowner. She likes it a lot better but I don't like the look. My stock seat needs to be sent do Mean City as it's become flat as a pancake and hard as a rock. So, if I'm going to be in the saddle for more than a couple of hours I use the Sundowner. Mine mounts the same way: the front has a tab that slides under bracket and the back has the same thumb screw as the stock seat. I used some table lamp rubber pads from ACE hardware to buffer it away from the paint.
I did also pickup a used Corbin Gunfighter and Lady seat with one back rest but that looks even uglier than the Sundowner.
I've only used it once.
