Like the others, I would go with shorter, colored wires.

Options for you include
1. SE wires
2. http://www.uskoolines.com/
3. http://www.magnumshielding.com/Ignition-Wires

If it was my bike I'd have used the SE wires for a Rocker. I originally used a pair of red ones on my 03 Heritage Springer, but I found they stuck out too much and were too flashy.

Replaced them with black and they seem to look much better. I'd vote not to use any color.

See pictures with red wires...

You could also flip the coil upside down and then they will not the tank.

After I installed them, I noticed that both wires touch the bottom of the tank. I'm guessing due to the length and the fact that the boots aren't at an angle. See the picture below.

Would you replace or modify the wires to keep them off of the tank, or just leave it as is? I've ran this set up for maybe 200 miles and I haven't noticed any scuffing on the tank. I know there are SE plug wires that are shorter and have angled boots to keep the wires off of the tank. I really can't decided if I should leave these Taylor plug wires on or replace them to keep them off of the tank.

Opinions?
I am sorry to see that!

I would get them off the tank. Couple of no-cost ways to do that-

1. Like Hogpro said, flip the coil
2. Shorten the wires you have (if you email me at Kevin@DKCustomProducts.com I will email you back step-by-step instructions on how to do that)
3. Call or email the shop for an exchange for the Universal Fit PRO RACE Wires, that you can start from scratch at, making them the length you want.
