So I finally bit the bullet last night and called carlini to order my apes, risers and even cables.. Got the black gangsters 16" 1.5. And the all black high roller risers. They even set me up with Barnett cables that will work perfectly with this combo and my bike.
Now all I gotta do is get my wire extensions from Namz. Anyone know which one is the best for my bike?? Then get the grips fluids and gaskets..
Anything else I'm missing. Prob won't go on till Atleast next weekend. Wish me luck because this will be my first venture into modding his bike.
Good for you, you'll love the bars. I used the Namz 24" kit that requires you to cut & stagger the splices. The extensions are not the right way to do it IMO.
I have plenty of pics from my install; PM me if you need a hand.
I Love My Apes, wish I would had them long ago. I have the Carlini 14", 1.5" Gangsters with their 1.5" bra riser and all internal. Here is a picture.1393890_10200109319496057_206881228_n[1].jpg

I cut and staggered the splices when I did mine, it just makes a thinner group of wires and easier to pull through the bars. It's not a hard job just time consuming..
