I purchased the vied after using a SE street tuner and install of my V&H pipes. I also had a bad pop when changing gears and upon decel.

After installation the pop when shifting is gone but still light popping in decel.

Most tuners cost 3-400 dollars and can cause issues with HD for warranty claims. With the vied I can remove them in 5-10 minutes and not have to stress over at the dealership should anything warranty related arise.

So far the bike rides smoother after installing the VIED and I have about 250 invested including my SE tuner and a used pair of VIED's

Thought about grounding to the regulator. Problem was I have ABS and the bracket that holds the regulator is attached to the ABS module. The ABS module is attached via plastic brackets to the frame and not grounded
