Default Carlini Evil apes on '13 Breakout

Need some advice on which size to get. A few years back I was involved with a pretty bad work related accident that essentially blew my elbows out of the back of my arms (cringe now)... as a result my range of motion is limited as far as extending my arms. Although I love the look of the Breakout with drags, it simply isn't comfortable for me to ride. My position, with arms fully extended is still slightly hunched over with the stock bars. Looking at several options I like the Carlini Evil Apes http://www.carlinidesign.com/Handleb...gers/Evil-Ape/
My question is, what height would be best for me? I know personal preference comes in, but in general what would you recommend for a 6' 2", 230lb short reached troll? Thanks for your input, Dan.

It's hard to give advice for something that is so personal to each individual. Having said that and with your size I would suggest the 14" with the 1.5" riser. Good luck and let us know what works out for you.

I'm roughly 5'10" and have 14" Carlini Pist. They are essentially evil apes with the radius going forward instead of back, so the dimensions should be very similar. Keep in mind, I also have CVO risers, which you will likely want. These are about half as tall as the stock risers, and no pullback.

I too have the pist apes. im 6' long dangling monkey arms. I went with the 14" with 1.5 risers. In retrospect I probably should have gotten 16" but these are confortable. Eitherway you can bring the bars in a little closer to you
