Just checked the weather for Sat in Maggie Valley. There is a 60% chance of rain, which means we have a 150% chance of becoming ducks. Looks like I may try and go to the poker run in anderson.

I'll be there tonight and riding the area all day
tomorrow. I'll let you know if it rains, the last
time I saw that for cast for Maggie Valley it
never rained a drop!

I ride up there most every weekend and this year it
has only rained once so far. All the falls up there
are drying up to a trickle. I wish it would rain on
me at least once this year up there! I love riding in
the rain and have not got to do it this year at all..

One thing I learned from living in the mountains in
Canada as well as here in the BRP mountains. The
weather forcast means nothing, noda, zip. You just go
ride if you want to ride and ignore what ever the
weather man says, because they have no idea what the
mountains will make for weather on any given day!

Enjoy what ever and where ever you go this weekend
I know I will!

OK" I left the Charlotte area at 5PM Friday evening
headed up to the Blue Ridge Motorcycle camp ground
which is about 14 miles from Maggie Valley and came
home Sunday morning, I got home at 12 noon with
about 900 miles on the bike.

Guess what?"

No rain the whole weekend anywhereI rodefor the
whole 900 miles!

Like I always say about mountain riding" Never go
by what the weather man says, just go ride your
motorcycle and enjoy the day!

Anyone thatpassed on mountain riding this weekend
missed some fantastic riding weather, mid 70's and
partly cloudy, it don't get much better then that!

Ah well.. Gave me time to do my 1k service.
I went with Mobile 1 V twin in the crankcase and primary, and Mobile 1 75/140 in the tranny. Took about a 100 mile spin on Sunday, and am pretty happy with how she's working.

We gonna shoot for Saturday, or Sunday? Sunday might be better for me, I pick my bike up from the dealership on Saturday.
