Time to buy some chrome or black it out or something, you need to redeem yourself, and up your street cred here just a little bit now.
Remember, only use MC oil, order it onlline and unless its a brand no one ever heard of, you get no more extra (stret) credit points. Make it a silly weight to or a shade tree blend, make sure to include the benefits of the two when blended. Your street cred is starting to slip here. Time to redeem.
I'm sure of one of two things DB. Either you haven't read your PM from the moderators, or you are ignoring their advice.
The only open problem is you trolling this thread.
Im all for the carb conversion! Like the member who posted stop blipping before shut off, I gave some more EFI facts. Thats it. Another fact is one of the best tunes your bike will ever have with any air cleaner or pipes is the factory tune. Anything else other than non street legal tunes is not worth it, and in most cases a worse tune.
Adding facts is not trolling.
Im going for a ride now. Foggy, misty, wet slippery leaves on the road. But no fair weather riders to hold me back. So rest now, have another cup of coffee. Im logging into the reality web now where there is no tuner advertisement to bedazzle me lol. Get some gas, maybe the road spray will wash off the grass chunks from the off roading I did a few rides back.

Dusty Bones was the village idiot that liked telling us that Harley owners are fair weather riders that ride too slow and that we are all f@gs. That's it in a nutshell.

I have an 07 that has done this off and on for the past 3 years .. I have yet to find what causes it.
When it occurs, I can shut off and restart repeatedly and the engine will rev up.
I found that turning the bike off, rolling the throttle all the way and releasing it then restarting, the bike will rev normal.
This usually happens when the bike has been running a normal operating temp and shut off for a short time, but still warmed up. I have never had this happen to a cold bike.
Since I first posted about this, I added a fuel pak. This did not help.
I am experiencing the opposite, the bike revs up like crazy when cold and then normalizes. It only happens n the morning, at night when I start it up after work it does not do it, the bike has been off for 8 hours or more.
I live in warm weather, and my bike is new, has no choke switch.
