Default Screamin Eagle II mufflers

I came across these and was wondering if you guys can tell me the difference between SE and SE2 slip on mufflers.
They look like they would fit 2004-2013? bikes.
The seller says they have not been tampered with , baffle wise , and I've not seen them in person.
The seller is asking $100.00 for them , is it worth checking into?
To be honest , I've never seen SE2's for a late model sportster.

I was thinking of S&S tapered , but for the price , maybe I would try these first.

Those are for a 2004+ bike. I can see the port on the top picture (bottom muffler) where the crossover tube attaches.

That’s a premium price in my opinion. I just sold a nice set of SE2 mufflers off a 2003 Dyna for $50 on Craigslist.

I had them on the OL's '04 1200 (50,000 miles) and I have them on my '05 883 (about 30,000 miles). I bought an additional set, new in the box, for 100 bucks about a year ago. I'm hoarding them, just in case. I think the flow and sound is about perfect (they're a little louder on a 1200 vs. the 883).

I have the SE2 on my 2011 1200C. Although they've gotten just a touch mellower, they still sound great to me. A Benjamin for those sounds high. I think you can do better.

So the basic truth is , the SE2 series was all about performance without regard for EPA rules.
The SE series are just cooler than stock , but produced within the EPA rules.
That about sum it up , more or less ?
I'll grab them and report on them in the spring , or whenever the deep freeze is over.
Thanks guys for the info.

I have 2004 SE2s on my sporty. Nice sound but not obnoxious. I love them. I paid 50 or so.
