Default Told me so

Installing my new Kuryakyn ISO grips this evening and dropped one of those little brass parts off the end of the cable. Of course it would have to fall right down where the oil lines go out of sight. I'd just read on here to watch those little buggers and be danged if I didn't drop one anyway.... I searched and then blew air from all directions and nothing. Nearest dealer is 150 mile round trip so I'll call them tomorrow after work and hope they have one.

Sorry for your loss lol but you will love those ISO grips. I've lost nuts and bolt many times and it sucks especially when you have no spare. I would look around the garage floor...I tend to find some where I did not expect it to roll. Hope you find it or it's a 150 mile journey.

One last chance before bed time I looked with a flash light and there it was lodged way down between 2 of the oil lines. Short piece of wire and it was mine again. Went ahead and installed both grips and love them. Can't wait to try them out tomorrow after work. I did find it easier to unbolt the handle bars to get the slack needed to slip the throttle grip side on. Plenty of room dealing with both feed cables that way.

Do you have the throttle boss...those are invaluable and allows you to loosen your grip especially on long runs. Glad you found your fitting.

Throttle Boss, yes I did get that and will need to ride a few times adjusting it to where I want it. Not in the way at all like I thought it might be....
This will help me and the hand problems I've been having a lot. I can't believe I've put over 500 miles on this bike already, with all the rain we've had I really haven't been out much yet.

My Dad taught me to use one of those light plastic painters drop clothes under the bike and to cut one and drape it over the engine .... I wish I had listened.

I ordered a couple of those 'ferrals' I think they're called-just to have them in case I ever lose one. Since I have spares,I've never lost one!
