My best advice would be to purchase a HD Factory Service Manual.
If you wrench on your bike, its worth it. You wont have to rely on others
to tell you what you need either...
So, having said that, look at your ign switch. If it has three wires on it, then
you can use the FatBob switch shown earler in this thread by cvaria.
Bascially, (disconnect battery) cut it off and replace it with the fatbob switch.
DO NOT DO THIS UNLESS YOU HAVE SOME SORT OF THEFT-DETERENT SYSTEM.
Use at your own risk, not responsible for accidents, blah blah blah
good luck,
T.

Finished my plug and play setup for quick swap-outs.
the wire come pre assembled. oh well. practice is good, yes?
blah
full deal
ready to patch in. just need to study the diagram
........i'm going to assume that there are some "givens" that i'm missing due to ignorance in this arena... i know that third wire is there just not shown here.... must be assumed

Hi Cvaria,
I ordered the same connectors (option A from Amazon) for this project. I looked at it this weekend, and the wire gauge on the amazon connectors is a bit smaller than the stock ignition wires. Should that be a concern? It scared me into putting off this project until I could ask you fellas.

tested the big twin switch on the bike.
Dyna big twin ignition switch on 2007-2013 sportster w/HFSM test - YouTube.
works well. now will test delphi connection. had to rewire with 14 gauge.

in case anyone wants to know the resistance values according to Harley's wiring diagram(below)
from 2015 Sportster - ACC = 800ohms and IGN = 200ohms
are 800 in the ACC position and 200 ohms in the run position so what i am going to do for my bike is just a simple toggle switch with a 200 ohm resistor in series with the load done.... toggle off - bike off , toggle on = "run" so the bike will run , start etc.... no point in the "ACC" position as when would you ever want to just be in ACC position on a bike...

did you figure out the toggle, it looks like the thread went cold. I’m trying to do the same with the 2 wires. Can you tell me how you did it and pics.
