Accessory fuse keeps blowing.
Hello i have a 2010 Sportster 48 and i recently just bought it used, the accessory fuse keeps blowing I've installed new bars and re located the speedo back to the stock position since i have got it. Ive checked all my wiring multiple times and nothing seems to be wrong, i even replaced the TCM and it is still blowing the accessory fuse. Also every time i blow the fuse its only while riding and when i blow the fuse while riding i notice when i press the left turn signal my low fuel light turns on but only right after i blow the fuse and only while riding. Has anyone else had this issue? If so please lmk how to fix it im dying to figure it out!! Thanks

Darian, sad to say that what you are experiencing is a common problem, as a result of changing handlebars! Despite your best efforts at checking your wiring, that is where your problem most likely lies. You have a clue, with your left indicator. One possibility is that the wire for that in your left handlebar switch body has been trapped or damaged. The switch housings are very cramped and it is all too easy to trap a wire while cramming everything inside. The low fuel light coming on suggests there may be a similar problem with that, more likely to do with the wiring to your speedo. Time to dig out your multimeter and do some serious fault chasing! Or find a pal who can.
