Directions stated in the manual didn’t work when mine wouldn’t start the day after I brought in from the dealer.

In my owner's manual is the details of the fobs should I need to replace them, current pin number and other pertinent details.

In the manual is two pull-out crib sheet cards to note the pin and how it is entered.
Like I said, it was a zoo the day I bought my bike. I went back yesterday and got my new owner package from my salesman. The guys in the back forgot because they had to install a new battery for me. So, FWIW, I got a new battery but got my owner's manual a day late. I'm happy.

The dealer needs to use their Digital Technition to establish an initial PIN on brand new bikes as they are shipped from the factory without one. Seems odd they would need to establish a PIN on a 2016. Was the security system factory installed, or added later?

Dlr said it’s original from factory. Bike was pre-owned by someone who only had 2900 miles on it before he passed away.
