It was diagnosed by the previous owner that there's a leak from the "Stator Plug". I don't know if that's a thing really... By plug I assume they meant the wires? But there's no oil there.
ever mind... I think I found it. Question can the rubber piece (plug) be fixed somehow from the outside? Or can it be replaced? I can't find anything on the web except replacing the whole stator.
I updated the picture above with a red circle. So you don't think that's a leak? I mean it seems very minor but it's still oily and stuff
IDK, doesn't look like it's leaking enough to leave the spots you're seeing on the cardboard. I would think a leak there would migrate to the right side of the engine to the sprocket side, not toward the back. Any oil up there inside the primary case is just splashed so when engine off it should not have any oil splashing on it.
