I have a Burly brand extension cable kit for 12” ape hangers on my 2018 HD XL1200X 48. I had my tires changed today and didn’t see at the time that the fitter had twisted the brake calliper so that the line rubbed the wheel. I only realised as my ABS light came on and showed fault C1032, when I looked I saw that due to the twist it made contact with the tire and has worn through one of the wires on the sensor as well as the coating and some steel braid on the lower brake line. Does anyone know if the lower line is available separately (it screws on to the block on the Burly setup rather than being crimped on the HD part) or does anyone know the specs for the fittings so that I can get one made up by Hel?
I am in the UK just to make things a little more difficult.
Another option is to contact Burley direct and ask them what thread they used.
Being nosey though how did the caliper get twisted, it is held on with quite substantial bolts? With it twisted how did the wheel even turn? Is the culprit going to replace the wheel sensor?
The guy had a tyre changed so there is no need to be touching the caliper or brake line banjos. In any case when the bolt is done up on the caliper the design is such the banjo will turn so far and no further. Doesn't make sense to me.

My guess is that they took the calliper off to clear the rim when removing the wheel, then when they put it back they somehow turned it or linked the line and didn’t realise when bolting it back. It was all working without an ABS light before I went there and they did the MOT just a couple of weeks ago so should have picked up on any issues with the brake line then if they were present.
I would take it back to them but I can’t prove it was down to them, I have already got the new sensor on the way and I’m more than happy doing brake work but as it’s not a simple banjo fitted hose I just want to be sure I have the right one before I start.
I have emailed burly to see what they can tell me about the fittings, a custom hose from Hel is not too expensive so will probably be the route I take.

thanks, that was pretty much what I expected. I see that burly use Goodridge hoses so I’m guessing that’s what I need to spec for..
