I was looking at my industrial gray Sportster and realized the stock fork reflects detract from the color scheme. I could've just removed them but as it's a fairly dark color scheme, it wouldn't do well to remove reflection. Especially for night riding. So I decided to change them out. Here's the before and after. I'm happy with it for now, but may change it up later on down the road if something strikes my fancy. Original reflector at night New reflector during the day New reflector at night.
I had my Street Glide stock front fork lowers changed out to chrome at the dealer and noticed my stock reflectors are now gone when I got the new Chromed bike back.
The look is much better with those yellow reflectors gone, can't say I would stick those big ugly reflectors back on even if I could but I did have the thought about being seen now from the side at night?
I also wondered if a white ( clear ) reflector would work or if a small yellow reflector could be relocated to the side frame or something?
No big deal as I been ridding long enough and remember when the smallest, dimmest tail light was in fashion not the bright LED lights of today...
But I'm also smart enough to know those for reflectors were on the bike for a reason...
I like my look but wonder if any good looking reflector options are available?
I made them myself. Fell back on the Sportster verbage, was initially going to have Nightwing and Robin, but I didn't get the personalized license plate I wanted.

Custom clear reflective stickers could easily be made. I decided to go with "Sportster" because I couldn't think of anything else creative. I'll most likely make something different when I think of an original idea.
