Be aware,if you fit pipes and stage one air. You should not use the choke at all.It will clog up the plugs in no time. Two or three twists of the throttle and start her up.Keep the revs up for a few seconds and let the bike warm up for 30 secs or so then gun the hell out of it.[sm=badbadbad.gif]
As long as the carb is tuned properly, that's not true. I completed the Stage 1 on my bike at the beginning of December last year. I rode the bike all winter, and have logged about 18,000 miles since I did the stage 1.
No problems with plugs. If I hadn't used the choke last winter, I wouldn't have been riding. I would have been wondering why my battery kept going dead before the bike would start.
