Part one , stage 1 upgrade jets , ebay purchase and open aircleaner and exhaust.

Part two = the weekend hack.

Part three = experienced mechanic.

Buy a Dynojet rebuild kit. Right instructions, right jets, no guesswork. I assume you have both hi-flow AC and pipes?

I just bought jets for my 883Cand my buds 04'1200C-you should check intojetting a little more, you may only have to adjust the mixture, depends on mods done. I'll see if I can dig up where I asked on XL Forum about it and there is some good info over there also.
