Default Roland Sands Bars

Has anyone put a set of the new RSD Short Stack bars on a 1200N yet? I was considering the mini apes and then having them powder coated, but the Short Stacks come finished in black and I like the lower look for the Nightster. Thanks in advance for any pics.

P.S. I decided not to leave them on my bike as the test run did not go so well. They look great and would look better with the wires stuffed inside and a turn signal relocation kit, but the test run didn't go as well as I had hoped so I took them off.
I just went with the HD mini apes instead.
Now I just have to decide if these bars are going to be wall art - or maybe sell em on ebay or something.

what didn't go well in the test run that you took them off? Just didn't like the config?

Do you have to buy new wires if your going to wire them internally, or are the stock ones long enough?

Well, it brought my arms closer together while keeping them at the same height. It was more effort to countersteer. I suppose I could have gotten used to it. I actually gave it a second shot but after 200+ miles trying I was left with a feeling of less control over the bike. The bars just weren't for me. I am sure you may hear from someone else who has them saying the exact opposite.

With the 7.5 inch rise and having to follow the shape inside the bars, all new wires are needed. Throttle cables were fine and I had bought a brake line long enough so I didn't have to bend the stock lines.

I really like the way they look but I couldn't adjust them enough to find a comfortable spot for long rides.

Thanks man! I really like these bars, just dont know what kind of trouble I will get into once I buy them and have to get new wires, new, this and this, etc...

DO you know how much new wires would cost me?

I guess I didn't bother looking into the cost to replace the wires since after the test run I decided against keeping the bars. I don't know what the measurements will be.
What I can say is if you do want to try them, you may have to bend the brake line a bit but everything else will work if you keep them outside the bars.

Thanks Squee. No, I definitely want them internally wired so I'll have to get new wires from what it looks like. I was hoping they would have enough slack to reach...damn. As for the cables, I'm thinking I want the black pearl braided cables. From the look of it, stock length on the cables should work. Man, this seems like its gonna cost me around 700-800 bucks when finished.
