Thanks for posting about the trees!....I'm considering doing something similar myself.....Seeing as you are also a Cajun, then maybe we can get together soon so I can check out your mods.
sounds great.. i cant wait to see pics..i was thinking about a small rake for my bike, but want to do a wide glide front end..wont happen till atleast next year though
Very nice, I'm going for the mid glide in either 3 or 5 degrees, plus the six spoke wheel from Harley. My other option is buying a Night Train which I'm looking into.
Hey guys,
Well i finally said screw it and ordered my 5 degree raked trees.
I bought the Hawg Halters Narrow glide 5 degree in chrome.
Before you say, wow your ride will suck, i actually rode a friends bike with the same trees and i was impressed.
I am also buying the chrome lower fork sliders, that will go great with the chrome trees and my chrome rims.
Will post pics when i get them.
My next project, around July, will be rear air suspension from arnott air ride.
Keep checking for pics, they should be here soon.
Did the bike you ride with the raked trees have extended fork tubes or were they stock length?I'm curious if 3 or 5 degress would require a longer or "over"front end for proprer trail.
I hear ya Ace. I wanna do at least a mid-glide front end, but I'll have to wait for a whilealso. I'm waiting for an answer as to whether a slight rake (3*) or so would require longer fork tubes.

Depending on your setup NO!! up to 3-4* you don't need to with HHI trees,
HHI actually gives you back an inch with their fork caps they use that screw on top of your tubes
