I want to order my new drag bars today but need some help on what to get. I took a ruler out to my bike and figured I like the 32in length with about the same pullback as stock. What do I need to get to achieve this with the drag bars?
Any suggestions on the best places to buy both the bars and risers? Brands?
I'm guessing you would need like 9 or 10 inch risers to get the bars where they are now. You would have to replace your stock riser with a longer one. In the end, I don't think you would be happy with the look. Just my opinion though.

I guess your first decision is whether or not you intend to replace the stock pullback riser on your C model with something else. I'm running 32" drags w/2" pullback ontop of the stock riser.
I got my bars from a member (thanks again Ace). Look at J&P Cycles PN#5000605. I drilled holes in them to accept theOEM wire clips. The only thing I purchased were new wire clips. I had taken the original ones off a couple of times already and a couple of the tips were messed up. Thosewere $1.00 each at the dealer.I picked up the saddlebags at a local bike store, they are River Road model Slant Medium. www.riverroadgear.comAlso have the HD bag support brackets.
