Default Question about replacing handlebar and risers

Im changing out my stock 883L Bars with a 8 inch Zbar. Do I have to change out my Risers or will the stock ones do? I’ve been reading a lot people change out both at the same time so I was just wondering. Also can anybody guide me to a place to get a decent price on a zbar? looking for one with about 7 inches of pullback .. Stock bars are 6” H 28”W 10”PB 6-1/2” Center 2-1/2" x 4-1/2” Clamp area wanting to go a little higher and keep the pullback I have

Thanks

Your riser should be fine as long as your bars are 1" in diameter. Also you are going to need a new front brake line line if you go that big. My bars are only 5" and i had to slide the line up but you will need a new one.

I got my bars from biltwellinc.com . they dont have a huge selection but they do have nice bars for cheap.

Ok thanks for the reply. I had read that as long as I didn’t go any bigger then 8 inches I would fine, but I guess that isn’t the case. What is the pullback on your Z bars if you don’t mind me asking?
