'04 rubber mount issues?
I had read here somewhere a negative comment about early rubber mounts. I'm going to look at a nice '04 today (among others), but want to know up front what, if anything, to look for. If there's a rubber mount problem, is a good fix available?

I'm not personally familiar with any problems with the early rubber mounts; however, if there was a problem, I'm sure there's an easy fix. If there was a problem and no easy fix, this forum would be full of negative comments and "help me please" type posts.

I just got my 04 last fall and have put 1000 hard, fast miles on mine and it has had no mechanical issues, just issues like any vehicle will

I just traded in my 04 it had 27,000 miles on it and the only trouble I had was wearing out the foot pegs , ground off 2 sets and was working on number three. buy it and ride it they are a great bike , more fun than humans should be aloud.
