So I had just started my bike and was about to pull out of a parking space when \\;a random person \\;came up and started talking to me. \\; After they left, \\;I shifted into first to pull off. \\; \\;My bike jumps a little and cuts off.  \\;I must have been distracted because I didn't have the clutch squeezed in. \\; The bike started right back up, and has been acting fine since then. \\; Could I have damaged anything by doing this? \\; Should I be concerned, or does this happen to everyone at one time or another?
haha i did this when leaving a gas station once...was pretty embarassing. \\; kinda like the time i hit my horn button to start my bike at a gas station....for some reason i turn into a moron when leaving gas stations...haha
The only likely damage would have been slight bruising to the ego, which will quickly go away with reflection and a good laugh. There are likely few riders out there who have not committed an inconsequential boo boo.

 \\;
I hit the horn button once instead of the turn signal. \\; At least it reminds everyone that you're there.
When I start up my chopper first thing any day, the clutch is hung up (E. Texas humidity). I hold the clutch in, hold the front brake \\;and \\;gind it into 1st while idling, breaks the clutch loose everytime, no problems after 14 yrs.
 \\;
Hehe... \\; \\; I've hit the horn when trying press the turn signal and when trying to dim the lights... \\; They think you're honking because they didn't dim they're lights... \\; hehe
