I 'shift by ear', and at different RPM points depending on conditions.

To me a 'shift light' would be pointless unless I was running at a track, using cams with a narrow power band that needed to be shifted at a set point for maximum power.

Wanna race?&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;The shift light is only for all-out, ***** to the wall running..... some of us are irresponsible enough to ride really fast on public roads.... when speeds start getting around 100 or so I prefer not to take my eyes off the road and prefer to shift before she stalls out on the rev limiter..... Thanks for the opinion/advise!

Yea I was looking into one for my Street Bob&nbsp\\;as&nbsp\\;I seem to hit the rev limiter quite a bit, rarely did it on the Sporty. The ones I saw were kinda pricey and then i also heard about the waterproof problem.
