Cold Start Hiccup

Anyone else experience a cold start hiccup?&nbsp\\; its a 2008 Nightster, fuel injected, I assume its part of the warm up/choke function of the injection.&nbsp\\; Problem is occasionally it dies when it hiccups...doesn't seem right...

Mine is a 07 does the same but doesn't die,lean efi ?

I ride a 08 nightster myself, and find that my bike did the same thing last Saturday... I am waiting for a follow up phone call from the dealer, in town.

Yes its generally accepted as normal to get the one hickup but it should not die, whats your idle speed at when it does it?

mine died for the first time today-it normally hiccups once or twice when it is cold. ran great afterwards andit was 70 degrees this morning&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;so i dunno WTF that is... mine was idling normal at around 1250-1500rpms?

Piece of **** H/D EFI mine does it too, but deosn't die, I think yur better off with a carb and choke.

My 93 carb/choke does it on occasion. Usually when I try to take off too fast. It's walking a tightrope- too much choke and the plugs foul. Too little choke, and the hiccup.
