Default bars?

I have stock bars on my 06 sporty.. I lowered them towards me and that helped but I am still reaching for them.. (I am only 5 foot).
&nbsp\\;
&nbsp\\;"Custom reach seat" helps but still too far away for me. I am planning a long trip (over 600 miles alone) and I need comfort.. oh.. forgot to mention I have bad disc in my neck so I MUST have comfort!
&nbsp\\;
Thanks for any advice...Lisa

Same advice as the thread above.&nbsp\\; Do a search of threads concerning handlebars.&nbsp\\; I think you'll find what you need.&nbsp\\; Good luck.

Mini apes or pullback bars.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; Actually since you have the stock risers the HD pullback bars would work fine and give you at least 2" more reach otherwise you might look at some Flanders Flattrack style bars or at least some with about 9-10" of pullback.

Golfgurl,

Your sig says you have an 883 Low so I presume you are using the stock bars that come with an 883 Low.&nbsp\\; Those are some sort of buckhorns or pullback bars, I cannot remember the exact specs.&nbsp\\; If that is the case then you want something with even more pullback so it would be a matter of getting the exact specs on your current stock bars (width, rise, pullback) and then buying bars that have more pullback to them.

The 883/1200L bars have 10" of pullback.&nbsp\\; May be easier off to install pullback risers.

the 883/1200L bars are 28" wide, 6" rise and 10" pullback.&nbsp\\; Will installing&nbsp\\;mini-apes&nbsp\\;on a Low require the&nbsp\\;changing of the cables and brake line and extending the wiring?
