Default Noisy rear shocks

I just bought my Nightster brand new just less than 3 months ago, so it's still pretty new with only a little over 3000 miles on it now.&nbsp\\; A few weeks ago, I ran over a nail so I took off the rear wheel and changed the tube.&nbsp\\; Everything went smooth, and the tire seems good as new.&nbsp\\; The problem is that ever since i took the tire off and put it back on, both rear shocks are very noisy.&nbsp\\; They make a lot of squeaky sounds when they move.&nbsp\\; They didn't do that before, and the front shocks are nice and quiet.&nbsp\\; Is there something I was supposed to do that I didn't think of?&nbsp\\; Any ideas what could be causing this? I was thinking about calling the dealer to see if my warranty covers the noisy shocks, but if it's a simple fix, I would hate to get them involved.

Washed your bike since you had it?

Probably over torqued the shock bolts and the bushings are squeaky (assumming you unbolted them to get your wheel off). Factory torgue settings are a little tight. Just loosen them a little.

I wash it just about every other weekend.&nbsp\\; Is there supposed to be some lubrication there that I might have washed off?

I didn't touch the shocks when I took off the wheel. &nbsp\\;
