I recently took advantage of the Sporty trade in special for a 2009 Fatboy.... It wasn't an easy decision, because I do love the bike.... after all, it was a 2007 XL50 Anniversary bike in black.... I had to do it because the bike didn't cut it for what I was now needing... I do a lot of far riding now, and the 6th gear is wonderful, along side the extra weight of the bike for stability......oh,well......What's funny is that I have to see it every time I go to the dealer now.... lol
I'm not sure if there is a section on here to sell parts, but I do have a detachable sissy bar/luggage rack for sale, along with some screaming eagle pegs, and a Memphis shade windshield....
Congrats on the new bike. I took advantage of the trade up program too.
My dealer is only 2 miles from my house and I drive by every day and I see my '09 Street Glide in the showroom tucked away in the corner with the 'sold' sign on it. It drives me nuts that there is way too much salt on the roads to ride! I bought it on 1/30 and I've been in 3 times to 'visit' it already! LOL
I did the same as you, only I got the Super Glide. I love this bike and got a good ride in today. With it going to be 72 degrees tomorrow, you know what I am going to do. I am with Shu, this Sportster forum is a great place to hang out. Enjoy that new bike and be safe.
