I did the same thing as you when I was changing my bars for the first time... There was no way I was paying the dealer to fix it. I fixed it for free the MacGyver way by cutting a few pieces of an old credit card and super gluing them together in place of the broken piece. Over a year later and it still works as if nothing ever broke.

I forgot to watch out for this when doing my internal wires on my apes. Went to the stealer who told me it was a $65 switch! Went home and cut the end off of a small zip tie and super glued it on where the little piece should have been. Almost a year later and it still works like a charm.
