Default just installed dyna bars

For anyone interested, I just finished installing some Dyna Wide Glide bars on my sporty. I was looking for that extra rise and pull back, and these have done the trick. I went back to my original 1" risers with these bars. Purchased the bars at the dealer for $60. Took about 4 hours from start to finish. Needed a longer brake line, but I had already changed that out. Throttle cables just needed relocated. The wiring DID need extended about 6 inches, which I did myself with a soldering iron and shrink tube. Took her for a spin and felt real nice, though it will take a few miles to get used to the new ride position.

I installed some wide glide bars on my son's 99 Sporty a couple of years ago. He loves them.

I'm new at the riding scene but a lot of mods I know I could do myself but how do you do the bars? I mean if I want new bars on my Nightster how can I put them on myself? I mean how would the grips re-install or should I have a dealership do it for me?

Looks nice. Off topic but was wondering if that Mustang seat is the Vintage Wide or the Vintage Standard?

Your going to love the sitting position of those bars. I have them on my 1200c. I am currently looking everywhere to get the best idea/price for swapping out that damn chrome curved riser though. Comfortable, just looks awkward as hell with the bars.

Great choice... you'll love em.
Did mine a couple of months ago. Didn't need to change any cables, just a little rerouting and I had to bend the brake line.
