Any Side Mount Licence Plates?
Just curoius if any has, or can post any pics of a sportster with a side-mount licence plate. Keep thinking about doing it but curious what it would look like.

I have been thinking about a side mount for my Night Train. I see em on other bikes but I haven't actually seen any for sale anywhere, not even in a catalog. [sm=confused06.gif]

took the stock one off, drilled the hole bigger and stuck it on the side.
Cost me 15 . dstill havent filled the holes

That looks GREAT, but it's not legal without a light. You don't ride at nite or do they just pretty much not bother you about it?

I took my stock license plate holder trimmed it up, bent it, enlarged the hole & mounted it to my lower shock bolt. Out here we don't have to have it lit.

how did you mount the holder? I've seen the side mounted plate on the duece, but want to do it to my sporty. how did you do the mount?
